Animism

Animism is an advanced attribute based on being possessed by an animal spirit. Animism offers a number of status effects and makes characters noticeably more powerful at higher arousal levels.

Kat uses Animism when she is unlocked.

Unlocking

The first step in unlocking Animism is to unlock Kat:

  1. The player character needs to reach level 10.
  2. Unlock Aisha's Reference Room by asking Aesop about magic training.
  3. Inquire with Aesop about more competition and pay $1000 to unlock Kat.

Once Kat is unlocked, raise her affection to at least 5 and visit the Reference Room at least once in order to ask Kat about animal spirits the next time you visit her. This will allow Aisha to give the player character an animal spirit; she will refuse at first, but if you ask again, Kat will help convince her. This grants 1 point of Animism and unlocks Animism training.

Skills

Animism Skill Tactic Description
1 Pounce Positioning Upgrades Tackle, making it three times faster and more accurate. Knocks down and mounts target.
3 Cat's Grace Manipulation Requires 20% arousal. Makes user Nimble, buffing evasion and chance of escaping binds.
6 Tail Job Pleasure Requires user to have a tail and target to be pantsless and immobile but not in a sex position. Deals pleasure based on user's Animism and arousal.
9 Purr Manipulation Requires 20% arousal. Charms target. Ineffective against angry or desperate targets.
12 Tiger Claw Hurt Upgrades Slap. Deals pain and builds 10 mojo. Does bonus damage based on user's arousal. Improved by Pimp Hand.
15 Shred Positioning Upgrades Tear Clothes, adding a bonus strip check based on user Animism and arousal. Strips and destroys an article of clothing, targeting tops first.
18 Beastform Manipulation Puts user in Beastform. Improved by Feral, which doubles the bonus. Costs 30 mojo.
30 Pheromone Pink Overdrive Pleasure Requires user to be Feral and to have higher arousal than target. Raises target arousal to match user's (as a percentage of maximum). Costs 30 mojo.

Traits

Animism Trait Description
2 Pheromones Requires user to have at least 50% arousal. Chance to make target Horny each round.

Training

Animism can be permanently increased in the following ways:

  • level up
  • pay to increase by 1 at the Reference Room during the daytime.

While it does not give access to the full benefits of Animism, the Furry Elixir can induce Beastform.

Other Effects

  • With 4 Animism the user received Feral Power: any time the user's arousal reaches 50% they will become Feral, increasing Power, Seduction, Cunning, and Speed based on Animism. Improved by Fur Affinity, which lowers the threshold to 25%.
  • With 12 Animism and a Fox Tail, the player character can upgrade Sexcalibur with a Furry Head for bonus pleasure while the user is Feral or in Beastform.
