Profile:

A recent transfer student, who’d been petitioning to join the games since even before she arrived. Valerie is very slow to open up to anyone, and shares almost no details about herself or her past. She rarely socializes with anyone, resulting in her still having no friends on campus outside of (perhaps) her roommate, Justine. Despite this anti-social attitude, she’s scrupulously polite and kind, and has never been known to say a rude word to anyone (even when well-deserved).

Valerie holds herself with a composed bearing, which, when combined with her attitude, the fact that she never seems to be wanting for money, and her impeccable standards for clothing, has led to her roommate developing a conspiracy theory that she’s secretly foreign nobility, which she’s never gotten Valerie to explicitly confirm or deny. Either she’s secretly having fun with and playing along with Justine’s suspicions, or there actually might be some truth to them - especially given the fact that on one occasion she accidentally let slip to Justine that “Valerie” isn’t actually the name she was born with.

Her composure makes her a difficult opponent to arouse in the games, but she does have a weakness. It’s possible to break her composure by engaging in embarrassing, kinky, or fetishy sex acts, leading to a new side of her being revealed if it’s fully broken. In this state, she’s rabidly horny, has a strong fetish for being dominated (especially in kinky ways, though this won’t stop her from trying her hardest to win a match), and tends to let fly with every curse she’s been keeping bottled up.

On top of the defense her composure provides, Valerie also tends to wear clothing that’s difficult to remove due to how well-tailored it is to her body, plus a few extra buckles to help keep her cloak and vest on and a tight belt around her waist. With how well-fitting her pants are, this isn’t necessary to keep them on, but serves to make them even harder to remove in the Games.

Valerie's developed a combat style focused on keeping herself under control in order to take control of both the match and her opponent. Her Discipline skillset focuses on unnerving the opponent so they're more likely to obey her, seducing them into a fetish for being dominated and hurt, and then exploiting this to bring them to orgasm.

Affection Values:

Affection tracks closeness between characters. In addition to helping determine who an NPC will help when they intervene during a fight, it also helps determine whether certain scenes are available. Such scenes are listed below.

Affection is primarily increased by visiting, but many scenes listed in this section increase it as well.

Visiting:

Speaking to the information broker to begin the process of unlocking Valeria as a competitor will unlock the option to visit her during the daytime. On the first visit, an initial scene will play, unlocking Valerie as a competitor and giving +1 Affection with Valerie.

On visits after the first, the PC will have the option to play games (associated with Cunning), have sex (associated with Seduction), or spar with her (associated with Power). Each such interaction gives the PC 1 Affection with Valerie and has a chance of raising the associated Attribute by 1 point for either or both the PC and Valerie. (The game reports when this occurs for the PC, but not when it occurs for Valerie). Playing games also gives +1 Affection with Justine. In addition, if the PC has a given amount of Affection with Valerie, you may access other actions. These all also increase Affection by 1, generally have a chance of increasing an associated Attribute, and usually grant the PC and Valeria a trait the first time they are chosen. These are:

In addition, there are 2 other scenes that only give +1 Affection with the characters involved. They are

Finally, the PC may also choose to train their Discipline when visiting. Choosing to do so is free and gives +1 Affection with Valerie, but can only be done once per day. There are many scenes that may play; which does is determined by how high the PC's Discipline is. The values are
